Our Story
Our story started back in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Bree was in search of a new job and through a friend, she found Costco. Bree had never shopped there before, let alone even heard of Costco. She decided to take the risk and accepted a cashier position. Matt had been working at Costco through college for years just waiting for the one to walk through those doors. The first day Bree started working there, they had met eyes several times until they finally had there first chat in the break room. They spoke here and there between every moment they could until finally Bree reached out to Matt via Facebook. They spent all night talking to each other like kids in high school who just started experiencing butterflies. They found out they lived within a mile of each other. Bree said she walked her girl Daisy every day. Matt said he likes to workout. One thing led to another and they soon found themselves meeting up everyday to walk Daisy around the neighborhood. Their desire for each other grew physically, mentally, and emotionally until they finally shared their first kiss.
Fast forward a few years later to 2023, Matt and Bree find themselves in a photo shoot back at their first date along the Susquehanna River where they had walked Daisy. Matt had found the same trees that he strung up a hammock on in 2020 and held Bree in his arms for the first time. It was at this spot, he knew he wanted to ask Bree for her hand in marriage. Matt proposed to Bree between the same two trees from their first date. And she said YES!
